University 40 is located south of Lohrville along the Cedar Creek and was purchased from the University of Iowa by Calhoun County in 1960. Outdoor recreationists can enjoy the park all year. Amenities include 2 shelter houses, 1 full restroom and multiple vault toilets, 1 camper cabin, and 8 full hookup campsites available for $25/night. Creek access and trails. No hunting allowed.
